Transition Projects – Shelter Access

Access point for Transition Projects’ emergency and short-term shelters in Portland. Programs provide temporary shelter, meals, showers, laundry, case management, wellness support, and help moving toward permanent housing. Shelters are not available for drop-in entry; a reservation or referral is required.

Who may qualify

Adults experiencing homelessness, including individuals and couples. Placement depends on bed availability and each shelter’s requirements. Some programs have specific eligibility based on household type, medical vulnerability, housing status, or sobriety expectations.
